APV Multi-Metering System for granulated crop protection products (MDC)
The Multi-Metering System (MDC) was specially developed for the controlled application of granulated crop protection products. The granules are precisely metered via the proven APV seeding shaft and then guided directly to the fishtail coulters via two separate outlets.
The specially sealed design, the surefill adapter and the precise placement make the Multi-Metering System (MDC) the professional solution for applications such as Belem, Goldor Bait, Attracap, Mocap or Vydate – especially when planting potatoes.

Work safely with granules
The Multi-Metering System (MDC) is specially sealed. The surefill adapter integrated into the hopper lid allows the device to be filled without coming into direct contact with the crop protection product.
Place granules precisely in the row
Two separate outlets and individual seeding wheels enable exact metering. The granules are placed specifically where they are needed via the fishtail coulters.
Advantages of the APV Multi-Metering System
Place granules precisely in the row
The Multi-Metering System (MDC) deliberately differs from a conventional Multi-Metering System for seeds or granules.

JKI approval
The Multi-Metering System (MDC) is approved by the Julius Kühn Institute (JKI). With this, APV offers a technical solution specially developed and tested for the precise application of corresponding crop protection granules.
For use within the EU, the Multi-Metering System (MDC) is also available with the corresponding crop protection inspection label.
For two or four rows + ISOBUS
One Multi-Metering System (MDC) has two outlets and is therefore suitable for a two-row application.
For a 4-row potato planter or precision seeder, two Multi-Metering Systems (MDC) can be combined with each other.
Both devices can be operated via a common suitable control system or via ISOBUS.
Automatic adjustment to the driving speed
With the appropriate sensors or control system, the speed of the seeding shaft can be automatically adjusted to the driving speed.
This keeps the desired spread rate per area as constant as possible, even at changing speeds.
Additionally possible
With a linkage sensor, the metering can be automatically switched off at the headland and switched on again when lowering.
Precise seeding shaft metering
The heart of the Multi-Metering System (MDC) is the proven APV seeding shaft metering.
A 12 V geared motor drives the seeding shaft. The speed and thus the metered quantity are regulated electronically via the control system.
This allows the desired quantity to be precisely adapted to the respective application.
Specially sealed
The Multi-Metering System (MDC) deliberately differs from a conventional Multi-Metering System for seeds or granules.
Its design is specially sealed and designed for the application of corresponding granulated crop protection products.
Suitable for example for:
Which products may be used depends on the respective approval and the applicable application regulations.
Safe filling with surefill adapter
A key feature of the Multi-Metering System (MDC) is the surefill adapter already mounted in the hopper lid.
It supports the closed filling of the device and thereby reduces the user's direct contact with the crop protection product.
Your advantages
Which products may be used depends on the respective approval and the applicable application regulations.
ISOBUS
Professional control directly via the tractor terminal
With the APV ISOBUS control, the seeder is integrated directly into the tractor's operating concept. An additional display in the cab is not required. In addition to the classic control functions, ISOBUS also enables precision farming applications such as Section Control and Variable Rate Control.
Advantages
Control Box 5.2
The Control Box 5.2 extends the basic functions with numerous automations. The spread rate can be automatically adapted to the driving speed, the metering at the headland can be controlled and the calibration test can be carried out conveniently. Thus, the module combines extensive functions with proven operation.
Functions
Control Terminal 1.2
The solid foundation for the essential functions
The compact Control Box 1.2 offers all the essential basic functions for reliable operation of an APV seeder. The seeding shaft and electric fan can be easily controlled and monitored electronically. Selected sensors can also be integrated – ideal for users looking for straightforward, functional control.

FAQ
What is the APV micro-granule spreader MDC and what is it used for?
The micro-granule spreader (MDC) from APV is designed for the precise metering and application of suitable micro-granules. The spreading material is metered in a controlled manner and distributed specifically, so that small application rates can be reliably applied.
Which micro-granules can be applied with the Multi-Metering System MDC?
The MDC is suitable for various suitable, free-flowing micro-granules. Whether a specific product can be applied depends, among other things, on the particle size, flow behavior and the specifications of the respective granule manufacturer. The suitability of the specific spreading material should therefore be checked before use.
Is the APV Multi-Metering System MDC suitable for the application of crop protection products?
The MDC is designed for corresponding applications in the field of micro-granules. When applying crop protection products, the respective approval of the product, its application regulations and the legal requirements of the country of use must be observed.
Does the APV micro-granule spreader MDC have JKI recognition?
Yes. The APV MDC has JKI recognition. This means the device has been tested by the Julius Kühn Institute with regard to the requirements relevant for the corresponding application.
Why is precise metering particularly important for micro-granules?
Micro-granules are often applied in comparatively small quantities per area. Metering that is as accurate as possible helps to adhere to the intended application rate, to use the granules specifically and to avoid unnecessary over- or under-dosing.
Can the Multi-Metering System MDC be combined with other operations?
Yes. By mounting it on a suitable carrier machine, the micro-granule application can be combined with an operation that is necessary anyway. This avoids additional passes and efficiently combines several work steps.
What is the difference between the Multi-Metering System MDC and other APV Multi-Metering Systems?
The MDC is specifically geared towards the requirements of micro-granule application. Other APV Multi-Metering Systems, on the other hand, cover different seed and granule applications. Which device is suitable therefore depends significantly on the material to be applied and the intended use.
For which farms is the APV Multi-Metering System MDC suitable?
The micro-granule spreader MDC is suitable for agricultural farms and professional users who want to precisely meter approved or suitable micro-granules and efficiently combine their application with another work step.
Das Problem
With granulated crop protection products, it's not just the spread rate that counts. It is crucial that the product is handled safely, metered exactly and placed specifically at the intended location.
Inaccurate metering can cause unnecessary product consumption. Uneven distribution between the rows can lead to not every row being supplied with the intended quantity.
At the same time, handling crop protection products places high demands on users and technology.
Die Lösung
The Multi-Metering System (MDC) 40 was specially developed for these requirements.
The device is sealed and has a surefill adapter integrated into the hopper lid. The proven APV seeding shaft metering meters the granules precisely. Individual seeding wheels for each outlet ensure even distribution to both rows.
The granules then reach the fishtail coulters directly via two hoses, which place them specifically in the row.
This creates a continuous process:
Safe filling → precise metering → targeted transport to the row → exact placement
