Simply spread. Flexibly deploy. Combine workflows.
With APV Disc Spreaders (KS | ES), you can apply cover crops, grass seeds, undersown crops, slug pellets, and other suitable granules quickly and easily.
The compact spreaders can be mounted on a wide variety of carrier vehicles and implements. This allows you to combine application directly with an otherwise necessary workflow – saving additional passes, time, and costs.
With 40 or 105 liter hopper volumes and working widths from 1 to 24 m, the right solution is available for different requirements.

Cover Crops & Undersown Crops
Apply cover crops, such as mustard, or suitable undersown crops easily during an otherwise necessary workflow.
Grass & Small Seeds
Distribute grass seeds and other small seeds quickly and evenly – for example, for grassland reseeding or lawn seeding.
Advantages of the APV Disc Spreader
The Principle
Hopper → Agitator → Metering Slide → Spreading Disc → even distribution
Easy metering and even distribution
The functional principle is largely identical for the Small Seed Spreader (KS) and the larger Single Disc Spreader (ES).
The spreading material is located in the lightweight plastic hopper. An agitator ensures that the material reliably reaches the metering slide.
You determine the spread rate via the infinitely variable metering slide.
Subsequently, the material falls onto the electrically driven spreading disc. The adjustable throwing vanes distribute the spreading material across the desired working width.
You can conveniently adjust the speed (rpm) of the spreading disc – and thus the working width – via the APV control terminal from the driver's seat.
Adjust working width conveniently from the driver's seat
The desired working width is determined by the speed (rpm) of the spreading disc.
Via the control box, you can change the speed (rpm) directly from the driver's seat and thus adapt the spreading width to the respective application.
This allows for working widths of:
KS 40: 1–12 m
ES 100 Classic: 2–24 m
For working widths under 4 m, APV recommends the optional precision spreading plate for the ES 100 Classic to achieve an even distribution.
Easily adjust spread rate
The desired spread rate is regulated directly on the implement via the infinitely variable metering slide.
This allows the opening to be adjusted according to the spreading material and desired seeding rate.
Advantage
The mechanically simple principle makes adjustment:
- quick
- understandable
- robust
- uncomplicated
and simultaneously allows adaptation to different spreading materials.
Adjustable throwing vanes
The electrically driven spreading disc is equipped with adjustable throwing vanes.
This allows the spread pattern to be adapted to the material used and the lateral distribution to be optimized.
For the ES 100 Classic, three deflectors for fine-tuning the lateral distribution are also part of the system.
Automatic start
Reliable start – even with compacted spreading material
When driving to the field, the spreading material in the hopper can compact.
Precisely for this, the Control Box 2.10 features an automatic start for compacted spreading material.
This supports a reliable start to work without the driver having to intervene manually before each use.
Flexible setup
Tractor, implement, quad, or vehicle
The disc spreaders are not tied to a single carrier machine.
With the different mounting variants, they can be mounted, for example, on:
- soil tillage implements
- tractors
- quads
- suitable vehicles
- rear tailgates
- towing hitches
mounted.
This allows a spreader to be used for several different tasks depending on the operation. APV offers its own mounting kits for towing hitches, quads, and tailgates.
Use multiple times a year
A disc spreader does not have to be limited to a single application.
Spring
Grass seeds and reseeding
Growing season
Undersown crops and small seeds
Summer / Autumn
Cover crops and greening
As needed
Slug pellets and suitable granules
Precisely this versatility makes the implements interesting for farms looking for a simple and cost-effective spreading solution for various tasks.

FAQ
What is an APV Single Disc Spreader and what is it used for?
APV Single Disc Spreaders are compact spreaders for the broad application of suitable seeds and granules. The spreading material moves from the hopper onto a rotating spreading disc and is then distributed across the area. This makes the implements particularly suitable for applications where a simple and compact spreading solution is required.
Which seeds and spreading materials can be applied with an APV Single Disc Spreader?
Depending on the model and spreading material properties, various suitable seeds and granules can be applied. Key factors include particle size, weight, and flow behavior of the material. Therefore, it should be checked before use whether the desired spreading material is suitable for the respective single disc spreader.
What is the difference between a Single Disc Spreader and an APV Pneumatic Seeder?
A Single Disc Spreader distributes the spreading material broadly across the soil surface via a rotating spreading disc. In contrast, with a Pneumatic Seeder, the seeds are first precisely metered via a seeding shaft and then pneumatically distributed over the entire working width via hoses and multiple dispersion plates. Which system is more suitable depends on the application, desired distribution accuracy, working width, and spreading material.
Can an APV Single Disc Spreader be mounted on a soil tillage implement?
Yes. The compact design allows for combination with suitable carrier machines. This means you can, for example, combine the application of seeds with an otherwise necessary workflow and save an additional pass.
How is the spreading width influenced on an APV Single Disc Spreader?
The achievable spreading width depends, among other things, on the respective model, the speed (rpm) of the spreading disc, and the properties of the spreading material. Particle size, weight, and flow behavior influence the spread pattern, which is why the machine should be adjusted to the material used and the desired application.
How is the spread rate adjusted on the Single Disc Spreader?
The spread rate is controlled via the metering of the spreading material and adjusted according to the desired application rate. An adjustment tailored to the spreading material and application helps to apply the material as needed.
When is a Single Disc Spreader the right choice for my farm?
An APV Single Disc Spreader is particularly interesting if you are looking for a compact and uncomplicated solution for the broad application of suitable seeds or granules. For applications with particularly high demands on metering accuracy and even lateral distribution over larger working widths, a Pneumatic Seeder may be the more suitable solution.
What distinguishes the different APV Single Disc Spreaders from each other?
The models differ in terms of hopper size, features, control system, and possible applications. Which implement is suitable for your farm depends primarily on the desired spreading material, the required spreading width, the carrier machine, and the planned scope of use.
Das Problem
Applying cover crops, undersown crops, or slug pellets often means an additional workflow.
Especially for smaller seed quantities, using a large seed drill is not always economical. At the same time, the spreading material should still be distributed evenly.
Die Lösung
APV Disc Spreaders offer a particularly simple and economical solution for this.
Due to their compact design, they can be combined with a wide variety of vehicles and soil tillage implements. This allows application to occur, for example, simultaneously with plowing, cultivating, or other workflows.
This reduces additional passes and working time, fuel consumption and machine hours, as well as soil compaction.
